Bush Insurance Agency is owned and operated by Curtis McLaughlin and Kristy Somsel who purchased the agency from Matt Bush in September, 2016. Matt entered the insurance industry in 1984, starting as an agent at Farm Bureau. In 1990 he moved to the independent market and was able to broaden not only his client base, but also the different markets and coverages available to his customers. Kristy started working for Matt in 1996 and helped build the current agency which started in 2000. Curtis came on board in 2003 and the agency has continued to grow since then. We all make a great team and care about you, our customers, and your insurance needs.
We pride ourselves in having an excellent reputation in the West Michigan area, and are able to work with the other area insurance agencies with ease.
Building on experience and expertise over the years, Bush Insurance has grown steadily and expanded the number of companies we represent. This has afforded us the unique opportunity and ability to serve and meet the changing needs of the public and our customers.
